• “If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of.” Bruce lee

A powerful resource that underdogs have at their disposal is time.No matter how talented or great a person is,they just have as much time you have ie 24 hours a day.

Albert Einstein said “Time is relative to the observer”.What i have observed the older i am getting, the faster time seems to move(please let me know what you people feel).Every New Year Day comes faster than the last New Years Day,so is the case with Thanksgiving day. Strangely my childhood urge to fast forward the time to be an adult has now changed to a wish to slow it down.

Well you cannot control the speed of time, but you can control what we can accomplish within our limited time.
To accomplish more of your personal goals, whether reading a book, learning to play a new musical instrument or exercising, you can start by saving some time from your routine activities and time optimizing them.so what should be the Time Management Strategy ?
Even if you can free 20 minutes of time from your day.
Those 20 minutes a day would mean 140 minutes a week.
If you continue freeing those 140 minutes a week, they would equal to 7 hours a month.
Which will eventually lead to gift you more than 84 hours a year!(guys please let me know if happen to make a calculation mistake). You will be amazed how much time you can extract from the time you always had.

What could you accomplish with your extra 84 hours per year?
You already know the answer. You could have exercised a lot in that time, read a dozen new books. The possibilities are endless.

If you allow six to eight hours sleeping, you are left with 14-16 hours. And of these hours, you have to allow time for eating, traveling and other daily stuffs.

You can start to write track down the wasted minutes.Where are the wasted minutes?

Here are some ideas to start with:

(1) Utilizing the traveling time by reading books ,listening to audiobooks or even planning the day.The time which is used up listening to music can be easily utilized.

(2) Take less time to eat, getting off the bed in the morning(I know its easier said than done).

"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much can be done if we are always doing."
Thomas Jefferson

(3)Less gossiping about sports, movies or anything bullshit.

(4)Getting up 20 minutes earlier.

(5)Watching less television.Even one show less can Create 20 minutes.

(6)Taking less time reading newspaper/Magazine(Reading faster or spending less time on the gossip sections).

"To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing"
Eva Young.

(7)Taking too much time  to get started and planning too much can be great tool to kill time.As someone has pointed out “He who fails to plan, plans to fail” but he did not go on to mention that too much planning and less(or no in many cases)work can lead to equally disastrous result. So stop misinterpreting the statement and focus more on doing.

Once you figure out the extra time, without wasting any further time make a journal entry and start working on the new goal.

"Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."
H. Jackson Brown.
